Memorial Day craziness…

Amazing weekend on the lake.. drained me completely ..had a super lazy day on Monday. I did however get to catch one of my favorite things to see on the lake late yesterday.. I saw a 6 year old get up on skis for her first time.. you could hear her mom and siblings screaming for her across Lake Martin. The beginning of it!!! Oddly enough my mother had just been telling my wife about when my sister and I got up for our first time. (my younger sister, got up before me.. i will never live that down LOL) Wooden skis and thick vinyl/foam vests behind a Johnson inboard/outboard. My how times have changed.. but the first time skimming along on top of the water gives the same result.. a ear to ear smile on the rider and a boat full of happy family.
