Married to her partner in real estate, Lake Martin native, Mike for 48 years. They have two children, Sawyer and Lynley, and three grandchildren, Greer, Davis, and Sanders.
Mike Davis is a native of the Lake Martin area. He specializes in lakefront lot sales and new construction homes for Lake Martin Realty. Mike also played a key role in helping India produce those sales for 2004, 2005 and in 2006. He’s worked closely with approved contractors in the Russell Lands Builder Program. This which comes naturally: He grew up helping his father build homes in Alexander City. He’s been an integral part new home sales serving as liaison between builders and customers. Always ensuring that the home-buying process is smooth and easy for everyone involved.
Earliest childhood memories include the weekly ritual of packing his bags for a family weekend at their cabin. The 4th cabin built on Lake Martin. A Russell cabin located on Governor’s Island. It won’t take long to convince you that Mike knows Lake Martin like few people ever have. When it comes to real estate, he’s a natural. Just take a quick lake-home tour with Mike by car or boat. Sawyer started his real estate career in Birmingham, AL in 1998 with Harbert Realty. Starting out as a commercial office leasing agent doing tenant representation. Later moving on to landlord representation with Stonegate Realty doing office, retail and commercial land sales in Liberty Park. Stonegate Realty additionally developed a residential property, Stonegate Farms. He also oversaw the sales of the 450-acre Stonegate Farms—a premier development adjacent to Shoal Creek.
He made the jump back to home on Lake Martin with The India Davis Team in 2005. Started residential sales with Russell Lands (now Lake Martin Realty, a Russell Lands Company). Working with buyers & sellers both, his specialty is working with investors. Buyers looking to remodel or build spec homes to sell. Lake Martin native and having countless hours out coaching behind the boat, few people know this lake better than Sawyer.
